Style File | Bundle Up | Winter Look Book

Friday, December 23, 2016

Welcome to our first Winter Look Book! We are spotlighting how to bundle up in style this snowy season. Michigan has been pretty hard core so far with the winter weather. No better time than the present to show off our go to outwear.

Look 1 | Printed Peacoat
 Just because the weather is taking a dip doesn't mean your style has to. Instead of a basic solid topper, opt for a printed piece. A peacoat is great for layering. We like to style ours casually while running around town. We scored our plaid pieces from Old Navy for less than $10! Can you believe mine is actually a kids size? {It was on sale for 97 cents, so I purchased the largest size they had!}

Look 2 | The Puffer Coat
Nothing is more important than having warm outwear EVERY winter season. One of our favorite styles is the puffer coat. We prefer a jewel toned hue. There's just something about a pop of color on a snowy *freezing* day.

Look 3 | {Faux} Fur
One of our favorite ways to mix up our winter style is with texture. + a little fur never hurt ANYBODY! Add a luxe element to your outwear with a fur coat or cape! Equal parts warm + fabulous! My coat is actually a thrifted piece from vintage trade show a few years ago. BQ's faux fur cape {sold out} is Kardashian Kids via Babies "R" Us {also sold at Lord & Taylor + Nordstrom}. Another item I purchased before she was even born!
