"Momma, Momma! Look! Ice Cream!" - BQ

We are somewhere in-between spring + summer in Michigan + we are 100% HERE FOR IT! As you already know, this is my favorite time of year + it shows not only in my personality {I promise I am MUCH nicer in the warmer weather}, but also in my personal style. Today, I'm sharing my spring mom-iform + BQ's toddler-form + why everyone needs a go-to look.

Why You Need a Style Uniform
I said it once...well at least FOUR times {here + here+ here + here} + I'll say it again, a style uniform is a MAJOR key when it comes to discovering your personal style. It's that no fail look that you always feel your best in. It usually consists of pieces you can easily mix + match or recreate without even thinking about it. Plus, if you live a busy lifestyle {i.e. chase around a toddler for a living} the perfect style uniform is the perfect time saver for the person who "ain't got time"!

The Spring Mom-iform
My style uniform switches up from season to season. My spring uniform is a personal take on that effortlessly, casual jeans + a t-shirt look. It all starts with a kimono {+ I promise you can NEVER have too many}. While my husband calls it a glorified robe, it is definitely the most comfortable option when it comes to casual style. I like to pair my kimono with a classic tank top {knotted to create interest} + ripped jeans. Add a block heel, bold lip, + statement earring + I'm ready to go!

The Spring Toddler-form
When it comes to BQ's style, I like to keep it equal parts stylish as it is practical. Since we are wrapping up the potty training stage, jeans are NOT the most ideal option. Instead, BQ's style uniform consists of lightweight printed dresses. + since toddler style can be as EXTRA as it wants to be, I almost always find ways to mix prints within her looks. This time around includes a floral bomber jacket that plays well with her striped dress. Her white loafers go with EVERYTHING + are again practical + easy for her to slip in + out of.
